I am originally from Hong Kong and moved to the United States where I grew up in New York City. I had always focused on the power of education and the importance of finding a successful and fulfilling career. I had a rewarding 25-year executive search career where I assessed over 3,500 professionals making career transitions. I then leveraged my experience – making a career transition myself – launching Chan Executive Coach LLC, to help others make their transitions. I particularly enjoy working with executives seeking more meaningful work, women returning to work and millennials launching their careers. I’ve experienced the benefits of exploring values and possibilities, and identifying skills, and the personal fulfillment of transferring these skills to another rewarding career.
My distinctive approach is taking a holistic view of my clients’ lives – a career is one important component. We will partner together, getting clear about your situation and prioritizing your values. This will become the basis for all of our work together. We will get to the heart of what is special about you. We will be clear about your story and how to present it to the world. We will develop strategies and an action plan with a step-by-step process, and accountability. When appropriate, I will solicit valuable constructive feedback from your managers and peers. We will include your ideal work/life balance. Through our process, you will gain confidence and feel supported.
